Product Description & Reviews
KENYA AA this high-grown coffee is one of our most well-regarded beans and comes from the famed growing region of Nyeria, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Beautiful coffee plantations of many smallholder estates at elevations of around 1,500 meters growing in rich red volcanic soil. The AA grade on this coffee especially important since this is the premium grade of Kenya coffee. These coffee plantations are growing the famous Bourbon SL34 Arabica varietal, coffee plants are shade-grown under Grevillea, Macadamia, and Eucalyptus trees. PROCESSING method is the fully washed process for true 'clean cup' shine, it was carefully dried on unique elevated African drying tables. The result is an extremely high-quality cup with notes of chocolate, black currant, citrus. 1) ROASTING COFFEE to perfection is truly an art, a distinct set of skills developed over time with experience. The most basic description of the roasting process would be that the beans need to be heated to around 400*F in about 7-12 minutes and then cooled quickly. As heat is applied the beans will change in color from green to yellow, to ever darkening shades of brown, once the roast level desired is achieved beans are cooled quickly. 2) ABOUT US - We are award-winning family operated coffee supplier.
