Product Description & Reviews

GUATEMALA - coming from a farm located between two looming volcanoes Fina Nueva Granada has become a perfect example of how a farm can become more than a source of delicious coffee. The farm has on site schooling and implements impressive sustainable practices for coffee processing. Finca Nueva Granada uses its own clear spring water for pulping and implements shade grown techniques to protect the environment in which is relies so heavily upon. This coffee is grown at high altitude of 1800 meters, on Arabica Bourbon plants, in the region of San Marcos. The soil here is rich volcanic resulting in delicious taste notes of dark chocolate, butter, cinnamon, toasted nuts/raisins. 1) ROASTING COFFEE to perfection is truly an art, a distinct set of skills developed over time with experience. The most basic description of the roasting process would be that the beans need to be heated to around 400*F in about 7-12 minutes and then cooled quickly. As heat is applied the beans will change in color from green to yellow, to ever darkening shades of brown, once the roast level desired is achieved beans are cooled quickly. 2) ABOUT US - We are award-winning family operated coffee supplier. We search the world over for the very best coffee beans we can find. Our coffees are grown by farmers who practice sustainable farming and encourage bio-diversity. We buy from partners who treat workers well, pay fairly. Over the years we've found that those who are committed to these goals grow coffees with the finest taste and highest quality. 3) SHIPPING - We ship within 24 hours Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) by USPS Priority with a 2-3 day delivery time. 4) SATISFACTION - Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
