Product Description & Reviews

TANZANIA AA - The Mbya region consists of roughly 400,000 smallholder farmers that own, on average 500 trees each. Many practice subsistence farming methods and all their coffee is handpicked. Tweega coffee comes from the washing stations in the Southern Highlands from the cooperative Tembo Coffee Company. It is sun dried, graded, and sorted at Tembo's facility in Mbya. The coffee plant varietal is Typica and the taste notes are described as silky with notes of burgundy, pear, tangerine. 1) ROASTING COFFEE to perfection is truly an art, a distinct set of skills developed over time with experience. The most basic description of the roasting process would be that the beans need to be heated to around 400*F in about 7-12 minutes and then cooled quickly. As heat is applied the beans will change in color from green to yellow, to ever darkening shades of brown, once the roast level desired is achieved beans are cooled quickly. 2) ABOUT US - We are award-winning family operated coffee supplier. We search the world over for the very best coffee beans we can find. Our coffees are grown by farmers who practice sustainable farming and encourage bio-diversity. We buy from partners who treat workers well, pay fairly. Over the years we've found that those who are committed to these goals grow coffees with the finest taste and highest quality. 3) SHIPPING - We ship within 24 hours Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) by USPS Priority with a 2-3 day delivery time. 4) SATISFACTION - Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed. We work very hard to fulfill your order perfectly every time but if we make mistake, we will gladly make right for you. 5) CONTACT US - Please message us anytime we are always here to help!
